"I DO NOT THROW IT AWAY …..I TAKE THE CHANCE…. AND YOU?"
This is the slogan supported by the “Regione Abruzzo” (Environment, Tourism, Hinterland and Energy Department) at the beginning of March 2004 till the end of the year in order to sensitize people and teach them some human behaviours in the context of the ecological waste. It is very important as for industries as for people to do something every day to save the environment, it takes just a few minutes to change our spots in order to give a big and important contribution of our side.

The environment is only one and…for everybody, but are we all together supporting the environment?
In these few pages we would like to remind you of something that is simple and yet important to preserve the environment. We are sure that you, an
"outdoor life", lover, will contribute to improving our quality of life and the future of our children. |

Take part in the differentiated waste collection! Sorting your waste is a sign of civility!
Throwing an object in the trash must become a conscious action! Why sorting waste? In order to be able to recycle! The recycling consents to save energy resources! The
recycling of paper, carton boxes and newspaper can be reused for manufacture new boxes, stationery, fabric, paper towels, toilet paper, egg cartons, napkins etc…. entire woods can be saved!
The recycling of plastic material can be reused to build playgrounds, to manufacture hoses, rugs, sleeping bags, bottles and containers.
The recycling of glass and aluminium can be reused to produce new cans and new glass containers. The recycled materials are not in any way inferior in quality to the originals.
The trashcans for the differential waste collection and for the wet material are situated nearly 100 m from the entrance of the Camping Village Eurcamping. |

Save water!
The most precious resource for all living creatures, but it is not unlimited. This is why water
must not be wasted and, above all, must not be polluted. We therefore kindly ask you the following:
▪ do not leave water running unnecessarily;
▪ do not leave the water fountains around the campsite running;
▪ ensure that faucets are closed properly and notify the Management
of any leaks or faults;
▪ restrict showering time to what is strictly necessary. |

Save electricity!
In order to work everything needs
electricity: producing it, transporting it and using it, it takes heavy efforts on our
environment. Improper use must be avoided at all costs! We therefore kindly ask you:
▪ not to waste hot water: it contains energy;
▪ use electrical appliances (air conditioning, radio/TV, etc.)
only when necessary;
▪ switch off unnecessary lights.
One of the three sanitary toilets groups recently renovated has been equipped with
solar panels in order to have hot water for showers and wash basin. |

Respect the nature!
Man by disposing receipts, ice-cream wrappers, paper handkerchiefs and cigarettes in the correct containers rather than throwing them
on the ground; one of the most important parts of the
environment. Who destroys it damages him self. Keeping the environment
clean and liveable is everybody’s duty. How can we preserve it?
▪ by not throwing waste outside the containers;
▪ by using environment friendly products where possible;
▪ by disposing receipts, ice-cream wrappers, paper handkerchiefs
and cigarettes in the correct containers rather than throwing them….
on the ground
▪ by not attaching strings laces or water container to the plants;
▪ by not dispersing soapy water on the ground or pour it down the drains or against the plants: special sinks are provided for this purpose in the shower facilities;
▪ turning off the car, whilst we are in front of the reception
or on the pitch.…in order to not increase the air pollution. |

Hold on to your butts!
Help us, give your contribution to keep the
beaches clean, get your own your personal ashtray
and you will support with us the campaign against the "wild butt". |
Only because some ashtrays contain
sand,
this does not mean sand = ashtray! |

In your daily nature you can do a lot to save the environment,
a few important acts are enough!
