The
Camping Village EURCAMPING,
3 star-camping, is situated in Italy, on the Adriatic Coast, in the
Abruzzi Region, in the province of Teramo, in
Roseto degli Abruzzi - blue flag F.E.E. in 2008 of Italian beaches - 25 km North from Pescara and 30 Km South/West from Teramo.
Roseto degli Abruzzi, with 24.887 inhabitants (statistical data
31.12.2009), is one of the most important cities in the province of Teramo. It’s a typical and marvellous town on the Adriatic Coast in front of the Gran Sasso Mountain, the highest mountain of the Apennines.
Roseto degli Abruzzi (place-name
dated 1927) has a very young history, in fact its
origin is after the 18th century. |

In a few years it was recognized as a village of tourist importance, indeed already at the beginning of the century it became a modern holiday resort. In the past its name was Rosburgo (country of roses) so called by King Umberto I with royal decree in 1877. Pure curiosity: during the first World War the Italian soldiers, in transit to the border of Friuli Region, didn’t like the name because considered of Austrian origin. |

The origin of
Camping Village Eurcamping is the end of 1960, when the family Soardi from Brescia chose Abruzzo, one of the Italian region rich in nature, Folklore and tradition, in order to set up and carry on a Camping Village that offers great hospitality in elegant beauty.
Camping Village Eurcamping covers
50.000 sqm, with 45 stone Bungalows, 39 Mobile Home, for 2, 4 or 5 persons in the
village area and with ca 265 wide pitches (60 - 80 sqm) in the
camping area.
Eurcamping is situated directly at the sea,
in a green and quiet area, far from the railway and
from traffic roads. |

The small town of Roseto degli Abruzzi is easy to reach by car, by bus,
by bicycle or by foot along the sea from South to North.
Near to the Camping Village Eurcamping there is a small
tourist harbour.
The sea here is ideal for people loving windsurfing, sealing sports and sea fishing.
